On the sidewall of your tyre, the size of the tyre along with the manufacturer details can be found. There are a set of numbers and letters moulded which follow a code system.
This code provides key information on the size of the tyre, its construction, load-carrying capacity and its speed rating.

195 – Width of tyre in Millimeters
55 – Indicates the height of the sidewall of the tyre
R – Radial Construction
16 – Diameter of the tyre’s inner rim in inches
87 – Load Capacity of the tyre
V – Speed Rating (Maximum speed of tyre at full load)
